- How do I pay?
We accept Visa Credit and Debit, Mastercard, Switch, Solo via our online secure e-payment card processing, or we can happily take payment via the telephone (including American Express).
- How long will it take for my order to be despatched?
Photo printing orders received before 12 noon are normally despatched by the next working day. Some mixed format orders may take longer.
Most frame and album orders are packed & prepared for despatch by the next working day.
- What if my item is out of stock?
Should an item be out of stock we will notify you via email and give you an option to wait for the order, re-order an alternative product, or have a full refund.
- Will you pass my details onto anyone else?
No, absolutely not.
- How do you process my photo's?
We are an established lab of 16 years and process all our photo's on-site using the latest photographic technologies.
- How will you print my photo's?
The best photographic papers and chemicals are used, and our experienced operators check and adjust for best results.
Although strict controls are imposed during processing photographic prints, there are unavoidable fluctuations in operating conditions and the sensitivity of the colour emulsions, chemicals and light sources. In consequence it is impossible to guarantee colour matching
- Do you keep a copy of any images I have printed with you?
No, We respect your privacy so images are deleted automatically after they have been printed.
- Will my images be cropped ?
Yes a little, because not all digital cameras have the photo standard 2x3 ratio image format, so we adjust to achieve the best fit.
With Photo printers the image is projected onto the paper, to avoid unsightly edge lines. The projected image is about 8% larger than the pre-cut paper that it is printed on. Most cameras allow for this, as the viewfinder is slightly smaller than the actual image recorded.
If you resize your images, please allow for the above.

- Can you print my images in Black & White?
Yes, if requested in the comments box.
- Can we choose Matt/Lustre or Full Image photos ?
Yes, we print all orders in Matt/Lustre unless Glossy is requested on the summary page when you finalise your print order.
We recommend Lustre/Matt paper finish as this does not show finger prints when handled and presents better when famed or displayed in a photo album or on a wall.
Full image prints may also be requested.
- Is there a minimum resolution for different size prints ?
Yes, the following are suggested minimums for good quality photos. We are able to print images at lower resolutions, however a loss of image sharpness must be expected.
6x4", 640x768 pixels, 0.5mb
5x7", 768x1075 pixels, 0.8mb
8x6", 1024x1365 pixels, 1.3mb
10x8", 1380x1725 pixels, 2.3mb
12x8", 1380x2070 pixels, 2.7mb
- Why are photographs better than ink pictures ?
The image is embedded in real photographic paper under the glossy surface, this makes it impervious to fingerprints and liquids. Real photographs have a long life and can be handled many times without damage, and at our prices are cheaper than home produced ink prints on photo-type paper.
eg. 6x4 real photographs 10p, 6x4 ink type photo paper 29p (Epson quote) plus inital cost of printer & wasteage.
- What are your delivery costs?
Our delivery charges reflect the true cost of sending items to you, so our prices are banded by weight and
calculated at checkout time. This works out much better value to you the customer as you may order a few or many products as you wish and know you won't overpay.
We offer Standard Delivery which is 2-5 days from dispatch and Express Delivery which should arrive the following working day after despatch.
Delivery is to UK Mainland.
